Who is Pack 111?

👧👦 Family-Centered Scouting: An active Family Pack for girls and boys in Grades K–5
🏕️ Camping & Outdoor Adventures: 5–6 family campouts each year, plus hiking & fishing
🏎️ Pinewood Derby & Raingutter Regatta: Build and race custom wooden cars and boats
🚀 Rockets, STEM & Special Events: Rocket launches, STEM Day, and "Slime N Grime"
🎯 Shooting Sports & Outdoor Fun: Archery, BB guns, Slingshots, and Climbing Walls
🤝 Community Service & Leadership: Parades, food drives, and park cleanups

Scouting Works with Sports & Activities!

We believe every child benefits from Scouting, regardless of their other commitments. Missing a meeting for sports, school, or family events won't hold your Scout back—they can easily catch up!

A Welcoming Space for Every Youth

Whether your child is outgoing, quiet, athletic, or creative, there is a place for them in Pack 111. Scouting welcomes all girls and boys (K–5th grade) to build confidence, make lifelong friends, and grow at their own pace in a safe, encouraging environment.

Understanding Scouting Costs & Dues

National Registration & Council Fees $150
New Scouts register online through Scouting America. Registration fees go directly to our national organization and the North Florida Council to cover program support, insurance, background checks, youth protection, camps, and staff.

Local Pack 111 Dues $140
Pack 111 dues directly fund your Scout’s hands-on experience! This covers rank awards, patches, meeting activities, leader registrations, and pack-wide events like the Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, Slime N Grime, and STEM Day.

Additional Costs & Fundraisers
Camping trips, uniforms, and handbooks are separate. However, we host two fundraisers each year so Scouts can earn their own way and help offset these costs. We work hard to ensure Scouting remains affordable and accessible for every family!

Financial Assistance & Scholarships
We strongly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to be a Scout, and we will never let cost be a barrier to joining Pack 111. Confidential financial assistance and scholarships are available. Please reach out to our Leadership Team—all inquiries and requests are kept strictly private.

The family-focused Scouting program for elementary girls and boys (Grades K–5).

The traditional flagship troop program for older girls and boys (Grades 6–12).

Visit Us at a Meeting

Interested families and scouts are welcome to check out a meeting or two before committing. All are welcome! We meet on the 3rd Tuesday each month (August —May) at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria at Julington Creek Elementary School.

What to Wear: Come as you are - casual clothes and closed-toe shoes for your first few visits! No uniform needed until you decide to join.

What to Bring: A water bottle, a smile, and a parent/guardian.

What Happens at a Meeting: We open with a flag ceremony, move to awards and fun hands-on activities or games, and a quick wrap-up and closing.

Parent Participation: Cub Scouting is a family activity! Parents or guardians are expected to attend and participate with their Scouts. It’s a great way to share the experience together.

Bring the Whole Family: Tag-along siblings are always welcome at Pack meetings, family campouts, and events!

Cub Scouts is built for families to experience together. It takes a village, and every family plays a key role in making our Pack run!
